This Solid Edge video tip shows how to add Files and Macros to the Quick Access Toolbar (QAT).
In other words, the video shows how to customize the QAT or the radial menu.
When you associate a file to an icon on the QAT or the radial menu, the file opens on clicking the button. This is helpful when you need to quickly access standard files like Excel tables or notes during modeling or creating drawings in Solid Edge.
When an executable or a program or an app or a macro is attached to a button on the QAT, the program can be started by clicking the button.
