The Solid Edge Startup screen has 25 entries in the Recent Documents by default.
This can however be changed should you need to access more files.
Click the Solid Edge Application Button 
The click the Solid Edge Options at the bottom 
Select the General tab on the left and set the number of recent files in the right panel.
