Solid Edge Video Quick Tip # 031

In Solid Edge Draft or the sketcher, the XY key-in box helps drawing and modifying elements relative to known positions in the working window.

For e.g. to move the center of a rectangle to a precise location, select the rectangle and start the Move command. Use alignment indicators to pick the center of the rectangle.

Open up the XY Key-In box from the ribbon. Type the coordinates of the point to move the center of rectangle to. Click anywhere on the sheet.
