Solid Edge App: Export Model from Drawing Views

This app reads all drawing views in a Draft open in Solid Edge and lists the referenced models in a list box to select from. The app then allows exporting the models to any of the 15 formats that Solid Edge supports.

Usage:

1. Open a Draft document in Solid Edge.
2. Run the app.
3. A dialog opens with a list of all model filenames from the various drawing views on all sheets in the Draft.

4. Select files in the list and a format to export to. 5. Click the Export button at the bottom of the dialog.Notes: 1. You can use the Ctrl and Shift keys to select multiple files in the list. 2. The dialog is sizable to accommodate long file names. 3. The dialog can be kept on top of all applications including Solid Edge but can be minimized. 4.
