Solid Edge App: Parts List to Excel Catalog

This Solid Edge app exports a selected Parts List in a Draft sheet to Excel and further adds a preview image that hyperlinks back to the part in that row. This means when you click the image the part/assembly opens in Solid Edge

Usage:

1. Keep Excel open and a file open.
2. Select a Parts List in Solid Edge.

3. Run the app.
4. The Parts list is exported to Excel.
5. A new column for Preview is added.

6. Click the preview image to open the model in Solid Edge.


Notes:

1. Parts List formatting from Solid Edge is not applied to the catalog in Excel.
2. Titles are not read from the Parts List.
3. All columns except the first are auto fit to width.

How to use: 1. Download the zip file in the link below. 2. Unzip files to a folder. 3.
